Interior Paint at Walmart – I just watched an informative show on MSNBC about Walmart’s success. The majority of the manufacturers that Walmart allows into their stores have to meet their price requirements, which has forced many to source materials from China where costs are lower. They used Bratz Dolls as an example. No one cares where they come from as long as people are making money off them. Apparently, once Walmart starts carrying your product, you can make millions if you adhere to their price constraints.

Walmart paint is made by the same companies that make more expensive brands of paint. In our area, Walmart brand paint is made by Sherwin-Williams. I’ve used it a few times and liked it just as well as the more expensive brands.

I’ve been using Walmart paint for both indoor and outdoor painting for the past 7 years, and I’m very happy with it. I’ve used other paints that I got from places like the mis-tint rack, but in my opinion, they’re not any better than Walmart’s regular Color Place brand. Overall, I highly recommend using a Sherwin Williams product over ColorPlace.
